The Very Sad Tale of the Late Mr. Stiltskin

The reviews are in! Here's one:

"If you think you know this timeless tale, be forewarned, Russell has a very different take on it. This hour-and-forty-five minute contemporary version will not only have your head spinning with delight, as you try to follow all the fun and creative changes, but your funny bone will also get a work-out from the continual antics.

When the trial of the ditzy but lovable queen (Holly McCarthy) finally begins, the tale of Rumpelstiltskin is told about five different ways as the witnesses, including the accused, tell their side of the story, with each version zanier than the next.

The ensemble cast does not miss a chance to ham up this silly production that has just as many jokes for the little ones as it does for the adults.

With baby dolls unexpectedly being thrown about, Russell's signature and daring sword fights unfolding before the audience, men dressed as women and an anything-can-happen attitude, everyone is sure to enjoy themselves at WHAT's The Very Sad Tale of the Late Mr. Stiltskin, whether one is too old to believe in fairy tales or not."
